Student Leadership

Barkly Highway State School provides leadership opportunities to students across the school. School captains are voted for by the students and staff. In 2021, we have two school captains and two vice-school captains.

House Captains are as follows:

Abel-Smith (red), Bowen (green), Kent (yellow) and Athlone (blue), have two captains and two vice captains.  Additionally, two students from each class represent each class and form the Student Council which is supervised by teachers.
